Every Hitachi tool is
thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory.
Hitachi products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the original purchase date.
Exceptions include:

I do not have my receipt can I still get my tool repaired under warranty?
Hitachi requires proof of purchase for warranty work. If when you purchased your Hitachi Power Tool you submitted your warranty registration card we can retreive your purchase information.
Without proof of purchase it is possible to still repair your tool under
warranty. Please contact us with your model and serial numbers and we will
attempt to get your tool repaired under warranty.
How long will my repair take and are there any additional
fees?
A typical warranty repair will take 5 days. Our service department will contact you with an estimated availability date after our technicians have determined the cause of failure.
Additional fees would only occur if your Hitachi tool is not covered under
warranty. You will be contacted by our service department immediately if your
Hitachi tool is not covered under warranty.
All warranty repairs include shipping back to you. Hitachi does not reimburse the
shipping charge to get your tool to a repair center.
My Hitachi tool is not under warranty can I purchase parts?
Yes, search our parts database for pricing or simply call or email your request.
We can also repair your tool for you. We will supply you with an estimate and
all repairs carry a 90 day warranty.
